Folks coming on Regional Rail lines may want to consider getting an Independence Pass that allows you to ride the entire SEPTA system for $12. If you get on at a station that does not have a ticketing office, you may buy the pass from the conductor on the train. http://www.septa.org/fares/pass/independence.html
